Honestly, time is money, and we know that we could spend hours falling down the internet’s craft beverage rabbit hole, or we could bookmark a couple of websites and call it a day. Obviously, we chose the second option. It saves us time, and we want to save you time. So here are a couple of our go-to sites.
We’d be lying if we said we weren’t drooling over VinePair articles every day. They cover the ins and outs of wine, cider, spirits, and beer, so for us, it hits on everything we love. This is a b2c publication, so the articles that you read are going to be ones that appeal to the masses. They’re fun, snappy and can give you a ton of ideas from content to share on social to new trends to try out at your bar or tasting room.
What it’s good for: Check out VinePair for fun, shareable content that you can use on a slow content day, or for fresh ideas for content you can create yourself.
Brewbound is the beer specific subdivision of BevNET – a site focused on the food and beverage industry. We’re subscribed to their newsletter so we can get the headlines of what’s going on in the brewing industry. Yes, we do want to know the latest on AB InBev as well as what’s going on at craft breweries regionally and nationally.
What it’s good for: Keeping up with the industry as a whole. Brewbound also has a job board that could help you find quality employees to fill any open positions you have.

We bet this isn’t one that you were expecting! Wine Folly isn’t a news organization, but it has some content that makes marketing geeks like us jealous. Namely eye-catching infographics that can get your creative juices flowing. Need to think of an easy way to show wine basics like quick pairing suggestions or the difference between wine grapes and table grapes? Check out their Wine 101 section. Can’t think of a topic for your next blog? Look to theirs for inspo!
What it’s good for: Getting that creative spark that will lead to your own sharable visual and written content ideas.
When we’re in the spirit to read about spirits, we check out sites like this one. Yes, that name is about as straightforward as it gets. Liquor.com has news on the liquor industry, feature pieces, and cocktail recipes. The features tackle issues like how much drinking behind the bar is too much, and highlight exceptional bartenders and bars.
What it’s good for: Keeping up on the liquor industry and reading feature pieces on topics relating to owning or working at a bar.
This is a big one for us because it covers all areas of the industry – it even touches on alcohol free drinks. Imbibe doesn’t cover the day-to-day news, but instead focuses on industry trends and features. Think new cocktail recipes, in-depth looks at the latest craft beer trends, and even tips like how to safely flame a cocktail.
What it’s good for: They basically do all of the trend research for you and compile it into readable articles so you don’t have to go digging around the internet.
